Canon Ambassador Marisa Martins describes herself as a 'documentary family photographer'. " trying to capture the beauty of everyday life, even in its most chaotic moments." she says.
Marisa lives near Lisbon - Portugal with her daughter Clara, her husband, and her cat Loli near the most beautiful beach on hearth - Santa Cruz.
Marisa's natural approach has earned her many awards, including winning first place in Photographer of the Year 2023 by This is Reportage Family and Documentarian of the Year by Documentary Family Photographers.
She loves telling stories that move and tries to convey the less obvious beauty of the chaos of real life and show what makes each family unique.
